Plot

Young Jim Hawkins and his mother Bess come into possession of a legendary pirate’s treasure map and are drawn into a deadly voyage across the Atlantic, where Jim is forced to navigate mutiny, violence and betrayal, leaving him forever changed.

About Treasure Island

Treasure Island is an action-adventure television series adaptation of the novel of the same name by Robert Louis Stevenson. The series stars Tom Sweet, David Oyelowo, Hayley Atwell, Tomer Capone and Jack Huston. Produced by Playground Entertainment in association with Paramount+, the series is an American-British co-production. Treasure Island consists of six episodes, and premiered on MGM+ in the United States on 11 October 2026 and on Paramount+ in the United Kingdom and Ireland the following day.
