Plot

Adam Jones is a Chef who destroyed his career with drugs and diva behavior. He cleans up and returns to London, determined to redeem himself by spearheading a top restaurant that can gain three Michelin stars.

Burnt is a 2015 comedy-drama film directed by John Wells and written by Steven Knight, from a story by Michael Kalesniko. The film stars an ensemble cast including Bradley Cooper, Sienna Miller, Omar Sy, Daniel Brühl, Matthew Rhys, Riccardo Scamarcio, Alicia Vikander, Uma Thurman and Emma Thompson. Two Michelin star-rated, temperamental chef Adam Jones, fights his way into working at a London restaurant after a three-year hiatus, demanding perfection from his staff to strive for a third star. The film was released on October 30, 2015, by The Weinstein Company. It was not well received by critics and grossed $36.6 million.
