Without an account

You can browse everything on Plot without signing in. The titles you mark as liked, disliked or not seen are stored only in your own browser (local storage). They are not sent to us. Clearing your browser data, or the button on the "My titles" page, removes them.

Signing in with Google

Signing in is optional and is used for saving your marks across devices and for creating lists. When you sign in, Google tells us your Google account number and the name on the account. We store those two things and the date you joined. We do not receive or store your email address, photo, contacts or anything else from your Google account, and we never post anything to your account.

We also store what you create on Plot: your marks, your lists, the notes you add to titles in a list, and whether a list is public or private. A public list is shown to everyone together with the name on your account. Private lists and your marks are visible only to you.

A cookie that keeps you signed in is set after you sign in. It is used for nothing else.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account and everything stored with it at any time from your profile page, or by writing to us. Deleting removes your lists, marks and account record.
